On September 3, 2026, Khammam witnessed an inspiring initiative dedicated to empowering the youth and supporting their dreams of joining the police force. A programme marking the beginning of free coaching for 2,000 students preparing for Sub-Inspector (SI) and Police Constable examinations was organised with a strong focus on making quality preparation accessible to aspiring candidates.
The highlight of the programme was an inspiring and motivational speech by Akella Raghavendra, who encouraged young aspirants to remain focused, disciplined and determined in their pursuit of a career in the police department.
Addressing the students, he emphasised the importance of hard work, perseverance, self-confidence and making the best use of opportunities available to them.
The initiative goes beyond classroom coaching by providing free study material and lunch to the participating students, helping reduce the financial burden on aspirants and enabling them to concentrate fully on their examination preparation.
The programme was attended by Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Minister of Information and Public Relations of Telangana, whose presence added significance to the occasion. Mendem Kiran, Chairman of Right Choice IAS Study Circle, also participated in the programme and extended his support to the initiative.
